Welcome to Itinerari Medievali. This website collects part of the activities supervised by the Medieval History Chair of Parma’s University History Department (Prof. Roberto Greci). Designed to be a workshop and a tool for training, the website allows anyone to approach Middle Ages thanks to sources, studies and a wide variety of cultural events.

Itinerari Medievali offers different levels of study, it’s a real resources’ archive for the researchers as well as a tool for an accurate popularization and teaching methodology for students (from High School to University) and teachers (in training and on duty).

Due to his complex structure Itinerari Medievali welcomes collaborations with academic, cultural and school institutions as well as authorities willing to join the aim of the project.

Cosa offriamo

The menu of Itinerari Medievali is divided into sections showed in the upper toolbar of the website.

Collana (Series) offers monographic and mixed full version volumes setting up the editorial series “Itinerari Medievali”, directed by Roberto Greci for CLUEB Publishing in Bologna.

Emilia Medievale (Emilia in Middle Ages) is fully dedicated to research offering to the scholars all sorts of resources, studies and useful tools to get through Middle Ages in Emilia.
The aim of Didattica (Didactic) is the teaching methodology and the scientific popularization for a productive bound with university students and between University and High School.
Appuntamenti (Events) informs on congresses, exhibitions, book’s presentations, stages, medieval curriculum’s activities for the History Research Doctorate of Parma’s University.
Links is an accurate sorted list of websites connected to the main teams of the site: Middle Ages History, Didactic for Middle Ages and Emilia in Middle Ages, with a section properly dedicated to scientific reviews of historical and historiographical subjects.
